Re “End Apartheid in the State Prisons,” Commentary, April 15: Last I checked, “apartheid” wasn’t confined to prisons. Students at my high school segregate themselves according to race and no one seems bothered. Maybe instilling “our core values” early on will end segregation in prisons, workplaces, etc.
