Former Senator Extradited to U.S.

A former Colombian senator was extradited to the United States to face trial for drug trafficking and said he would expose corrupt Colombian politicians in exchange for leniency.
Samuel Lopesierra, accused of heading a ring that sent tons of cocaine to the United States, was put aboard a plane bound for Washington in the custody of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents.
