FEATS OF THE WEEK

* Mike Moreno scored 44 of his 55 points in the second half to give Hacienda Heights Wilson a 76-60 Miramonte League victory over Pomona Garey. Moreno also had 13 rebounds and five steals.

* Curtis Allen had 17 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists to lead Palos Verdes Estates Rolling Hills Prep to a 94-71 Harbor League victory over Los Angeles Ribet Academy.

* Earl Isaacson scored 42 points, including the game-winning shot after an offensive rebound with seven seconds left, as Indio beat Cathedral City, 79-78, in a Desert Valley League game.

CLUTCH

* Matthew Thomas tipped in a missed free throw at the buzzer to lift Riverside King to a 61-60 victory over Fontana Kaiser in a Sunkist League game. James Ellis set up Thomas’ tip by making a 22-foot turnaround shot and drawing a foul.

* Ronald Sosa made a layup with two seconds left to lift Belmont to a 60-59 Northern League victory over Eagle Rock.

* Michael Sisto made two free throws with 3.5 seconds left to give Encino Crespi a 49-47 Mission League victory over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.

TEAMS ON THE RISE

* Pasadena La Salle. The Lancers (20-4) are 7-1 in the Santa Fe League after a 77-33 win over Burbank Bell-Jeff.

* Wildomar Elsinore. The Tigers (17-6) are 6-0 in the Sunbelt League after a 71-30 victory over Hemet West Valley.

* Los Angeles Westview. The Wildcats (15-2) are 12-0 in the Mulholland League after a 49-39 victory over Inglewood South Bay Lutheran.

LOOKING AHEAD

* Fontana plays host to Rialto Eisenhower on Tuesday in a battle for the Citrus Belt League title. The Steelers defeated the Eagles by a point last month when the teams played at Eisenhower.
