Seeds of Doubt

As a former Montanan, I was saddened to read about the desperate measures being taken by drought-stricken farmers. However, I am really dismayed that The Times would print “Romancing the Clouds” (Feb. 23) without one voice of skepticism or one shred of evidence besides the testimonials of the fleeced.
Was this report meant to be some kind of feel-good story about how a fast-talking cabdriver from New York made a few gullible people part with their cash and become “believers”?
