A delicious taste of Fort Worth

Thanks for your article “The Bonanza of Fort Worth” (Dec. 15). I lived there for more than 20 years, and it is a wonderful part of America, with warm and friendly neighbors.
It has lots of terrific restaurants, but you missed the Ol’ South Pancake House and Family Restaurant (1509 S. University Drive, [817] 336-0311), where you can get the world’s best German pancakes. When we are in Dallas, we always travel the 35 miles to Fort Worth to have them.
I have tried to find something that matches, or at least comes close, but nothing does. Ol’ South won’t give out the recipe, either.
