Museum chief: Peter Tokofsky, a professor at UCLA for the last 10 years after earning his PhD in folklore at the University of Pennsylvania, has been named executive director of the Los Angeles Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles.
New gig: Courteney Cox, she of “Friends” fame, has created and will executive produce a home-decorating series for the cable channel WE: Women’s Entertainment. “Mix It Up” is scheduled to premiere this fall.
