Globe Theatres in San Diego will present the Southern California premiere of “Dirty Blonde,” Claudia Shear’s play about Mae West and her fans, starring Kathy Najimy, July 26 to Aug. 30 in the Old Globe Theatre.
The summer season also will include “Julius Caesar,” July 5 through 10, and “Much Ado About Nothing,” Sept. 6 to Oct. 12, in Globe’s outdoor theater, plus David Ives’ “Time Flies,” Aug. 2 to Sept. 7, in the smaller Cassius Carter Centre Stage.
The season has been cut from six to four productions as part of a change in which the winter season will be expanded to 10 productions from September through May, beginning next fall.
