A South Gate Sweep

Bravo to the citizens of South Gate, who on Tuesday overwhelmingly recalled the treasurer and three City Council members (Jan. 29). This group had single-handedly turned the city into a town rife with political corruption and patronage, while always thumbing their noses at the letter of the law and needs of the citizenry. Once again, the voters of South Gate have proved what a wonderful thing democracy truly is.
Democracy rocks!
