Firefighters Still Battling 2,000-Acre Brush Fire

Firefighters on Saturday surrounded more than 75% of a brush fire that has charred 2,000 acres, county fire officials said.
No estimate was given for full containment of the blaze. There were no reports of homes or structures damaged or people injured, authorities said.
The fire was reported about 12:30 p.m. Thursday in a pasture along the 35000 block of Anthony Road, near Sierra Highway.
