New President Named at Cal Poly Campus

J. Michael Oritz, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Cal State Fresno, was named president of Cal Poly Pomona by the state university system’s board of trustees Thursday.
Oritz, who has been at the Fresno campus since 1996, succeeds retiring Cal Poly President Bob Suzuki, who has been at the Pomona campus for 22 years.
