Reprise! will present “Babes in Arms,” “Company” and “Kismet” in its 2003-04 season at UCLA’s Freud Playhouse.
The 1937 “Babes in Arms” (Sept. 10-21), by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, introduced “Where or When,” “My Funny Valentine” and “The Lady Is a Tramp.”
“Kismet” (Jan. 21-Feb. 1), a Baghdad-set musical with Borodin melodies, premiered in Los Angeles five decades ago. It was postponed from the Reprise! slot now occupied by “She Loves Me,” opening this week.
Stephen Sondheim’s and George Furth’s “Company” (May 19-30, 2004), about the indecisive bachelor Bobby, is a production of the same show currently playing the Knightsbridge Theatre in Silver Lake.
