Flying mustang, lying horseman

Re “Long Trail of Lies” (Feb. 17): The fact that Spanish mustangs can go and go, are tough as a pine knot, don’t cost a year’s wage, represent American heritage and are getting all this attention, is more than writer Bobbie Leiberman, an Arabian horse owner; the Long Riders’ Guild et al. can handle. They must resort to attacking what is questionable: “Rider” Frank Hopkins. The movie “Hidalgo” is about the Spanish mustang, an American treasure.
