$200-Million Project Wins Council Approval

The Los Angeles City Council approved Tuesday a massive redevelopment project at Hollywood and Vine that will include 262 apartment units, a hotel, 96 condominiums and 46,000 square feet of retail space.
The $200-million project on the southeast corner will be built by two private developers, with as much as $2.5 million coming from the Community Redevelopment Agency. Construction could begin next January.
