Season results: Washington 17-10 overall, 12-6 in Pac-10; UCLA 11-16, 7-11 Pac-10. UCLA swept Washington: 86-84 in overtime at Bank of America Arena and 80-75 at Pauley Pavilion. UCLA is the last Pac-10 team to defeat Washington, which won its last seven Pac-10 games, losing only a nonconference game at North Carolina State since Feb. 7.

How they match up: UCLA has a significant height advantage, especially in the post. Washington has no starter taller than 6 feet 8 and essentially plays with a three-guard lineup. The Huskies are much quicker on the perimeter. Both teams spread around the scoring -- Washington has five players averaging in double figures, and UCLA has three.

Keys to the game: UCLA seems to have forgotten how to win close games -- something the Bruins did twice against Washington. Meanwhile, the Huskies have learned to win down the stretch. UCLA must handle the Washington press and keep turnovers to a minimum. The Bruins also must be aggressive on the boards -- they are 0-11 when outrebounded. Washington must remain as unselfish as it has been during its remarkable turnaround.
