Metrolink Train Hits, Kills Person on Tracks

A person was killed Friday by a Metrolink train, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 8:45 p.m. on the tracks south of Arrow Highway and east of Wheeler Avenue, said Lt. Jim Streona of the La Verne Police Department.
Authorities were unable to identify the person, Streona said. The train was delayed for two hours.
