O.C. Driver Is in Critical Condition

A woman was in critical condition Sunday after an accident in which her car burst into flames near a Laguna Woods Home Depot, officials said.
The 61-year-old woman, whose name was not released, lost control of her Volvo sedan in the store’s parking lot about 4:15 p.m., hit two parked cars and jumped a small retaining wall in the 24000 block of El Toro Road, said Lt. Hayward Miller of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The car then careened across the street and hit another retaining wall, catching fire. The woman was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo.
