Six African immigrants died in another clash with Moroccan police when hundreds rushed the border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla.
Spain said it would start sending the Africans back to Morocco, beginning with a boatload of 70 Malians.
Citing Abdellah Bendhiba, governor of Nador province, Morocco’s MAP news agency said the Africans were killed during an assault by 400 immigrants on guard posts in a forest overlooking Melilla.
