Eagles feted for soaring sales

The Eagles were awarded a plaque by Ticketmaster on Saturday night at their Staples Center concert in recognition of their 12 sold-out arena shows in the Southern California market during their current tour. Singer and drummer Don Henley joked that it should have been 13: “Can’t we count Palm Springs?”
There is still a chance to see the band before it moves on. Despite the “sell-out” designation, production changes have made seats available for the Nov. 14 Staples show and Nov. 17 at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim. Contact Ticketmaster for details.
