Armed Men Attack Aid Convoy in Darfur

Armed men attacked and robbed an aid convoy in Sudan and threatened to kill aid workers if they used the same route again, a senior official with one of the aid groups involved said.
Thursday’s incident in Masteri was the most serious in a recent spate of attacks against aid vehicles in the war-torn western Darfur region.
The gunmen stole phones, money and radios and stripped the women, the official said.
