Behind the scenes

I really enjoyed your “How’d They Do That?” article by Sheigh Crabtree and would hope that it will become a continuing feature in the paper’s redesigned Calendar section [“It Was a Long Shot, but the Effort Paid Off in Exhilaration,” Oct. 29].

Not only is it a cool, well-written behind-the-scenes look at what portends to be a visually sensational action sequence [in the movie “Children of Men”], but it also brings focus to a sector of the movie-making team that rarely receives acknowledgment or exposure in the press.
