Delta Air Lines Inc. reached an agreement with thousands of retirees on changes to medical benefits that would save the carrier about $50 million annually.
The deal, which would require the approval of a Bankruptcy Court judge, covers a portion of about 32,000 pilot and non-pilot retirees, their spouses and survivors.
A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 19.
