Re “Color biases may be nature, not nurture,” Aug. 21
The article on the preference among males for the color blue as opposed to the color red fails to make mention that 8% of all males worldwide suffer from some colorblindness, with the overwhelming majority of those affected lacking a sensitivity to red. The rate of affected women, by contrast, is less than a half of 1%. Such percentages would almost surely affect any survey on color preference.
