2 shot and killed in Garden Grove

Police are investigating the shooting deaths early Monday of a man and woman in Garden Grove.
Oscar Manuel Martinez, 24, of Garden Grove and Michelle Nicole Miller, 19, of Rialto were found dead about 12:20 a.m. in the 12400 block of Pearce Avenue, near the 22 Freeway pedestrian overpass, by officers responding to reports of gunshots, said Lt. Dennis Ellsworth of the Garden Grove Police Department.
Authorities said they did not know the victims’ relationship, and further details were unavailable.
The incident is being investigated as a double homicide, Ellsworth said.
