International Creative Management said it would pair up with one of the world’s largest agencies that represent celebrity speakers. No money will change hands between the two firms, but the two will work together and split client commissions.
The Boston-based American Program Bureau, which has offices in London; Munich, Germany; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Hong Kong, represents more than 200 speaker-circuit stars -- a list that includes Mikhail Gorbachev, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Larry King. Beverly Hills-based ICM has thousands of clients with a small lecture division that sends agency clients including Frank Gehry and Toni Morrison on the road.
