Christmas is months away, but that didn’t stop 150 Santas and their little helpers from prancing about the Bakken amusement park near Copenhagen.
The annual convention was created 50 years ago to entertain children but has grown from a local summer festival to a gathering of Santas, Papa Noels and Father Christmases from around the world.
Fred Osther, a Norwegian with a long beard, said, “Santa is here to stay. He has something magic and we need that magic, we need that childish dream.”
