Sheriff’s deputies Friday were looking for two men suspected in a three-hour string of crimes involving a carjacking and three robberies in several cities.
About 6:45 a.m., the men -- described as Latinos in their 20s, both about 5 feet 10 and one wearing several gold chains -- stole a gray Chrysler Sebring at gunpoint near Westminster Avenue and Newhope Street in Garden Grove, said Jim Amormino, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The men then robbed a customer at an Arco gas station in Westminster, a car at a strip mall in Mission Viejo and two people at a home in Mission Viejo, Amormino said.
