Assembly prepares constitution draft

The assembly charged with rewriting the nation’s constitution produced a new draft in an army compound in Sucre, amid violent street protests in which at least one person was killed and many others were injured.
Protesters clashed with police in demonstrations demanding assembly delegates move the seat of government and Congress to Sucre from La Paz, a bastion of support for President Evo Morales.
