Burglar pleads guilty in slayings

A convicted burglar pleaded guilty in Henderson in the slayings of five people who were abducted from a fast-food restaurant in one of the state’s most notorious mass homicide cases.
Romeo Pinkerton, 49, admitted guilt as part of a plea bargain. In exchange for the plea, Pinkerton received a life sentence for each victim. He had been facing the death penalty.
