Nike CEO earns $7.6 million

Mark Parker, chief executive of Nike Inc., earned $7.6 million in total compensation during the 2008 fiscal year, more than doubling his calculated compensation from last year.
During the 2008 fiscal year, net income and its earnings per share at the world’s largest athletic shoe and apparel company jumped 26%.
Parker’s compensation included a salary of roughly $1.4 million and $2.7 million in incentive payouts, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
