Today is Columbus Day. The following schedules will be in effect in Orange County:
Government: All city, county, state and federal offices and courts are closed.
Mail: No delivery; post offices are closed.
Banks: Most are closed.
Libraries: Most are closed.
Schools: Non-year-round schools will be closed; year-round schedules vary. Some public colleges and universities will be closed.
Transit: OCTA buses and Metrolink trains will operate on normal schedules.
Trash pickup: Most cities will not delay collection.
