Actor Stacy Keach was home in L.A. Monday, recuperating from the mild stroke he suffered March 17. His speech and ability to move are said to have been unimpaired.
Keach’s spokesman, Dick Guttman, said he was released from an undisclosed L.A. hospital Sunday after six days of treatment that included “some procedures that are de rigueur in a situation like that.”
Ken Werther, an Ahmanson Theatre spokesman, said it wasn’t certain whether or when Keach, 67, would be able to go back on stage in the touring production of Peter Morgan’s drama, “Frost/Nixon,” that continues here through Sunday.
His understudy, Bob Ari, has taken over the role of former President Richard Nixon since Keach became ill.
