Where: Honda Center.
Records: Ducks 37-32-6, Avalanche 31-42-2.
Record vs. Avalanche: 3-0.
Update: The Ducks have beaten Colorado by a combined score of 15-6 in three victories, and the Avalanche couldn’t be showing up at a better time -- after Friday’s deflating 5-3 loss to Edmonton in which the Ducks got off a franchise record 54 shots and lost when goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere gave up four goals in seven shots before being pulled. Giguere was outstanding in Tuesday’s 2-1 shootout win over Nashville, but he has been pulled from several games this season. The biggest question looming for Ducks Coach Randy Carlyle is whether he’ll turn to Giguere, the star of the 2007 Stanley Cup run, or backup Jonas Hiller over the final seven games. Hiller has given up seven goals in his last 4 1/2 games.
