Donna Summer buys a Carlyle Residences condo

Singer Donna Summer has purchased a unit in the Carlyle Residences that was listed at $3.8 million.
She joins the ranks of celebrity owners there who include actor Bruce Willis, late-night host Larry King, Dodger Matt Kemp and singer-songwriter Paul Anka.
The unit she bought in the 24-story building on the Wilshire Corridor has three bedrooms in 3,500 square feet. All have private elevator entrances and amenities, including concierge service, fitness facilities and a dining room. The purchase price was not available.
Summer, 61, rose to fame in the ‘70s during the disco era. Among the Grammy-winner’s hit songs were “Last Dance,” “MacArthur Park” and “On the Radio.”
