Jeff Drayer, the writer-producer-dermatologist of “Chicago Med” and “Royal Pains” fame, has found a cure to his housing blues, buying a custom Mediterranean-style home in Brentwood for $3.165 million.
The two-story house, built in 2005 and recently remodeled, sits beyond a hedged and gated driveway on a snug 7,354-square-foot lot.
The nearly 4,000-square-foot floor plan opens to an elegant living room with a fireplace. Tile floors lead past a chandelier-topped dining area to a center-island chef’s kitchen with granite countertops.
The main floor also holds an oversized family room with three sets of French doors that open to the yard. From there, two patios face a fenced lawn.
The second story holds all five bedrooms, including a master with a spacious bathroom and walk-in closet.
Records show the home last traded hands in 2013 for $2.55 million.
Bjorn Farrugia and Alphonso Lascano of Hilton & Hyland were the listing agents, and Farrugia also represented the buyer.
In addition to serving as a producer on “Chicago Med” and “Royal Pains,” Drayer has writing credits on both shows. He has also worked as a consultant on the NBC medical drama “Mercy.”
