“Amour” director Michael Haneke may know about the parody Twitter account in his name, but that doesn’t mean he found it amusing.
“My students said there was a weird Twitter account,” the 70-year-old said through a German translator Sunday on the Golden Globes red carpet. “But I’m not that interested in that kind of thing. It’s not for me.”
(Suffice it to say, he won’t be opening a verified account.)

Haneke was more enthused about the impending ceremony.
“I’m just a liiiittle bit excited,” he said with a smile. “But I feel stressed out from all the noise.”
Turns out it was all worth it: A bit later, Haneke and “Amour” walked away with the prize for best foreign-language film.
