Chopped Junior Sloppy Joes are featured in the first round of the season premiere of this competition. Food blogger Siri Daly, Cheryl Hines and chef Geoffrey Zakarian judge the results. 8 p.m. Food
Zoo In Portugal, searching for the cure, the team has complicated negotiations with a dangerous venom dealer prove complicated, while Jackson’s (James Wolk) behavior becomes unpredictable. Ken Olin reprises his first-season guest role as Jackson’s father. Billy Burke and Kristen Connolly also star. 9 p.m. CBS
MADtv The sketch-comedy series that rivaled “Saturday Night Live” for late-night weekend viewers for 14 seasons makes a comeback with the premiere of this prime-time version, which has a new ensemble cast. Nicole Sullivan and Will Sasso, both from the original, guest star. 9 p.m. KTLA
Below Deck Mediterranean A celebratory night out turns ugly on the season finale. 9 p.m. Bravo
Dead of Summer Dee (Elizabeth Mitchell) and her counselors take their young charges deep into the woods for what they hope will be an ordinary overnight camping experience, Joel (Eli Goree) has a sense of foreboding. 9 p.m. Freeform
Animal Kingdom Smurf (Ellen Barkin) struggles to keep a lid on the mounting tensions in the family as the Codys prepare for their next heist. Scott Speedman and Shawn Hatosy also star. 9 and 10 p.m. TNT
Feed the Beast Tommy’s (David Schwimmer) son, TJ (Elijah Jacob), decides to take matters into his own hands in dealing with his tormentor. Jim Sturgess also stars. 10 p.m. AMC

Democratic National Convention C-SPAN begins its second day of coverage with a preview of scheduled events, programs and speeches (8 a.m.), followed by live coverage (1 p.m.). Cable news channels, including CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, Fox News, Bloomberg and MSNBC, will incorporate coverage into their programming and as breaking news.
