Riding in on a tiger
"In the spirit of Hollywood glamour and extravagant red-carpet entrances, this painting celebrates the imaginative spirit of storytelling through film. Woven into the image are metaphorical representations of the nine nominees for best picture."
Hewgill's paintings have been commissioned by Entertainment Weekly, Oprah magazine and Rolling Stone. A series of her posters is included in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress.
Oscar shines
"After years of being overlooked by the academy, Oscar finally reaches the red carpet in a style reserved for the greats."
Gall has won awards for his work on both children’s books and news publications. He is also a pilot who loves to restore classic cars and, he reports, even spent four years as a stand-up comic.

Simpson’s work has appeared in the Boston Globe, Esquire, the New York Times and the Guardian. He has contributed to major exhibitions in Europe, New York and Japan.

Morse’s illustrations have been commissioned by Major League Baseball, Nike and Target as well as major publications such as Rolling Stone, The Times of London and Esquire.
