Laguna Beach residents who did not receive an application for a “shopper permit” — which allows them to park at metered parking spaces without inserting coins or credit cards — can download the form from www.lagunabeachcity.net.
Click on the “shopper permits” icon on the city’s home page and make the purchase online or by mail by downloading a PDF version of the information packet and application.
Each permit, valid from Aug. 1 through July 31, 2018, costs $80 per vehicle for the first two family members and $150 for each subsequent person.

Residents who participated in the permit program in previous years should have received an application in the mail, though the dates were incorrect. The form said the permit was valid from Aug. 1, 2014, through July 31, 2016.
New permits will be mailed the last week in July. For questions, call the parking permit hotline at (949) 497-0314.
