Hide the children. Close the blinds. It’s Cathedral-Salesian week.
As if more needed to be at stake in a game between these Catholic school rivals set for Friday night at L.A. Southwest College, first place in the Angelus League also will be on the line.
Salesian (4-2, 1-0) upset St. Francis, 27-20, in double overtime in its league opener on a 10-yard touchdown run by Felipe Meza.
Cathedral (6-0, 1-0) routed La Salle, 56-17, behind quarterback Andrew Tovar, who completed 19 of 26 passes for 351 yards and five touchdowns.
