Excitement is growing for the Aracdia Invitational, which will be held next Friday and Saturday at Arcadia High School.
It’s the meet where top athletes get tested in a best vs. best atmosphere early in the track and field season.
The invitational portion takes place next Saturday beginning at 5:25 p.m.
Such boys’ athletes as Michael Norman of Vista Murrieta, Zach Shinnick of Damien and Austin Tamagno of Brea Olinda and girls’ athletes Tara Davis of Agoura, Zaria Francis of Rio Mesa and Courtney Corrin of Harvard-Westlake are expected to put on a show.
There also will be a strong collection of out-of-state athletes coming in to test themselves against the best from California.
Get ready for national bests to be turned in and a packed stadium.
