Update: Kings goalie Jonathan Quick, who will start against Detroit, has been putting in his time — and then some. He has played in 16 of the team’s 19 games. Quick started 10 of the last 11 games and went to overtime three times during that stretch, which included the seven-round shootout win against the Ducks on Wednesday. Telling statistic: The Kings are 6-1 with rookie defenseman Slava Voynov in the lineup. The one time they lost with Voynov in the lineup was against visiting New Jersey on Oct. 25.
