Still lots of interest in Cowboys vs. Eagles

Story line: The bitter rivalry has turned into a sad, shared bond of what was supposed to be. Philadelphia’s seven-game losing streak could climb to its worst skid since 1968. The Eagles still are without quarterback Michael Vick, who played shakily before his concussion, and running back LeSean McCoy, also sidelined by a concussion. Dallas is a game behind in the playoff chase and has lost key defenders to injury. Quarterback Tony Romo has 15 interceptions against 16 touchdowns.

Bottom line: The Cowboys are favored by 10. … The Eagles cut former All-Pro DE Jason Babin, with Vinny Curry and Brandon Graham expected to get more time. … NBC could’ve “flexed” out of the game in favor of another matchup, but the market sizes and national interest kept it on.
