USC morning report: Quarterback recruit Shea Patterson to announce

Fact of the day: Quarterback Shea Patterson, a junior at Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, La., is scheduled to announce his college commitment at 10 a.m. PST. Patterson was once committed to Arizona, but will choose between Louisiana State, Mississippi and USC, Nola.com reported.
