USC commit Matt Fink participated in quarterback coach Steve Clarkson’s Trendsetters Camp over the weekend in San Diego.
It was Fink’s first time working with Clarkson, who trained former USC quarterbacks Matt Leinart, Matt Barkley and Max Wittek as well as Trojans third-year sophomore Max Browne.
Tate Martell, a 2017 recruit with a USC offer, also participated in the camp.
Clarkson helped earn Martell an offer from Washington and former Huskies coach Steve Sarkisian when Martell was in the seventh grade. Martell committed to the Huskies shortly after the offer but has since withdrawn that commitment.
Fink and Martell threw for 59 yards and 63 yards, respectively, in a long-ball competition at the camp, Scout’s Greg Biggins reported.
Shea Patterson and K.J. Costello, both offered by USC, also trained at the camp.
Patterson is committed to Ole Miss, and Costello is committed to Stanford.
