Boys’ basketball: Xavier Johnson keeps leading Mater Dei

Xavier Johnson is having a huge game for Mater Dei, which leads Long Beach Poly, 49-41, after three quarters of the Division 1AA championship game.

He has scored 18 points, including a tip at the buzzer to end the quarter. He also has 17 rebounds. Chris Croom has 15 points for Poly.
