Two people were arrested by California Highway Patrol investigators and charged with participating in an automobile insurance fraud ring alleged to have caused more than 50 staged accidents in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties. Jorge Mirosian, 40, of Burbank and Amelia Carmen Sintoria, 38, of Los Angeles were charged with 11 felony counts each of insurance fraud, conspiracy and grand theft, a CHP spokesman said.
