Police are interviewing Service America employees and security guards in their hunt for the bandits who took $300,000 in a robbery at San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium Sunday night, according to Detective Lt. James Jarvis.
Three bandits, armed with a shotgun and pistols, and wearing ski masks and motorcycle helmets, entered the storage room where the Service America vault is located. They held three workers and a security guard at gunpoint while they filled two bags with money.
“The timing was perfect . . . and . . . we need to know why,” said Jarvis.
