Participants in the Great Peace March gathered in Snowfield, Utah, to mourn a member of the mobile community who was killed in a traffic accident. Cynthia I. Carlson, 24, of Rancho Palos Verdes, who left the march temporarily for some sightseeing, died Friday. Another marcher, George W. Mattingly III, 28, Parkhill, Ky., was also injured in the accident. The 300 marchers moved 18 miles Saturday to Hamilton Fort, near Cedar City.
