Great Western Financial has delayed an announcement about the status of its offer to acquire the stock of Citadel Holding, the parent company of Fidelity Federal Savings. The offer expired Friday night. A Great Western spokesman said an announcement will be made early Monday. Great Western has offered to buy Citadel through an exchange of stock, but it is up to Citadel’s shareholders to decide if they want to sell.
