Police removed a dynamite bomb hidden under a couch in the waiting room of an abortion clinic in New York City after a man telephoned authorities saying that the device had been planted. The three sticks of dynamite were found at the Queens Women’s Medical Office, which was not occupied when the explosives were found. Earlier this month, a bomb exploded at a Manhattan clinic. As in the latest incident, a caller had notified police beforehand.
